I don't know why everybody hated this movie so much...we all enjoyed it, and have watched it several times! (If my six year old had his say he'd be watching it over, and over, and over again!). I thought it was really funny, and it had some heartfelt moments too. It was a nice turn for Ice Cube (I never thought he would make a movie that my kids could watch!). I never knew he could be so funny, he pulled this character off in a hilarious way! The kids were a little overly bratty/evil for me, and there was a wee bit of language towards the beginning (nothing more than the "d word", 3x to be exact). No this movie wasn't an overly deep, great work of cinematic art...it's just plain funny, and great viewing for families.
